When is Taper's Choice playing The Independent in San Francisco?
Taper's Choice is scheduled to perform on January 16, 2027, at The Independent, located at 628 Divisadero Street in San Francisco's NoPa neighborhood. Check your ticket details for the event's door and show times, as these can vary.
What kind of concert is Taper's Choice?
This is a live music concert at The Independent, an intimate venue known for hosting indie, alternative, and underground artists. The close-up setting offers a personal way to experience the performance.
How much are Taper's Choice tickets?
Prices currently start around $40, with listings varying according to availability, seat or standing-area access, and market demand. Because The Independent is a small-capacity venue, tickets may become harder to find as the show approaches. Check ticketsberkeley.com for current listings and prices.
Is The Independent seated or standing room?
The Independent is generally a general-admission standing-room venue, with a capacity of approximately 500 guests and no reserved seating unless an event listing states otherwise. The stage is at floor level, and the room's intimate layout provides close views from many spots.
Where is the best place to stand at The Independent?
For a front-of-stage view, arrive early and choose a spot near the stage. The room is known for good sight lines and acoustics, so standing farther back can still provide an enjoyable view and sound. The least favorable position depends on the crowd and your preference; a spot behind taller guests may limit your view.

MUNI bus lines 24, 21, and 5 stop within about four blocks of the venue. Bay Wheels bike-share stations are less than a block away, and The Independent is near The Wiggle cycling route. Lyft drop-off and pickup are available on Divisadero Street; allow extra time for post-show rideshare waits.
Is parking available near The Independent?
Parking is limited on show nights. Metered street parking on Divisadero Street and nearby blocks is free after 6 p.m., but spaces are not guaranteed. Nearby paid parking lots and garages may be available within a short walk; consider reserving a space in advance through SpotHero. Allow time to find a spot and check posted signs for restrictions.
